2008 Melbourne Cup Form, Field & Fixed Price Win Odds

Top weight Septimus looks the goods, but can he last the distance with 58.5 kilos? There’s only a few days to go before we get to see the race of all races in 2008. This year Ireland has some great chances, as do New Zealand and Great Britain. Mad Rush from the USA has had a perfect lead up to the cup and is another big chance to take the Melb. Cup to America. My Tips for the 2008 Cox Plate incl. the Best Fixed Betting Odds

It looks like the horse to beat for this year’s Cox Plate is Princess Coup who’s just in front of Samantha Miss in the betting market. I think she’s a much stronger horse but we all know anything can happen on race day.

My Tips: Princess Coup looks hard to beat. Master O’Reilly didn’t have a great run last week but there’s a good chance he can find some form this weekend. We all know what Damien Oliver and Bart Cummings are capable of, Sirmione could well run a place and should be good value each-way.
