2009 AFL Round 6 Betting Odds and Tips

I hope you got on my tip for the Saints last week, they never looked like losing and just like I said, it was an easy way to double your money.

North Melbourne without Harvey will struggle, I don’t see them winning too many games while he’s out as he’s so vital to the team. Hawks v Carlton could be the game of the round, if the Hawks get back two or three senior players they have a good chance. The South Australian derby is always tough, and it’s hard to pick a clear winner from these two. The doggies are due for a win and they do represent value, but I’m not sure if I can tip against the form of the Saints.

There’s not a whole lot of value on offer this week, so I’ll throw a multi-bet out there and see how I go.

Collingwood
Hawthorn
West Coast
Brisbane
Sydney
Bulldogs

Which has the best odds at SportingBet, paying $25.37 and it’s certainly not far-fetched.

Good luck and happy punting!

Like the tips. The dons are a fair chance against the lions up north.

Your multi will go down…. the Saints will smash the Dogs.

http://www.sporttalk.com.au has some interesting best bets too.

Essendon seem like a yo-yo to me, as they did last year. I find it hard to put much faith in tipping and betting for them.

As much as St Kilkda have improved, the Bulldogs are a long way away from being a bottom 8 side and and they’re yet to hit their straps this year.

I agree with you, on recent form St. Kilda should win comfortably, but I see value in the Dogs which is why I put them in the multi :)
