A decent week for tipping last week with Carlton letting themselves, and most tipsters in the country down and the rest of the games pretty easy to tip. This week looks a lot less black and white, with a few games which I think could really go either way. I’ve added the line bets from SportingBet because I think there’s some really good value to be had.
Brisbane have had the better of Collingwood in recent times, and this is a game where the home ground advantage could be the difference. A tough one to tip with certainty, but I see value in the Pies with Rocca coming back in which should help Cloke.
Carlton haven’t beat Sydney since round 8 2000, add in the home ground advantage to Sydney and they are certainly in with a chance at decent odds.
The next tough game is North Melbourne, coming off a shocking loss to Hawthorn after the infamous chicken video, facing Essendon, narrowly defeating early top 4 favourites Carlton. The Kangaroos lose one of their best midfielders in Daniel Wells, while the Bombers bring in one of their best, Mark McVeigh to strengthen their side. It’s a tough one to pick, but the Bombers are in form and I don’t think the Roos will be able to bounce back straight away. Whoever you choose, you may as well pick a line here and double your money, since I don’t see the game being won by less than 4 points.
My tips are in bold, and this week I’ve also highlighted some odds which I see value in. Good luck, and happy punting!
