2009 AFL Round 7 Betting Odds and Tips
This entry was posted in AFL Betting. Check here for the latest posts in this category.
As I stated last week, Hawthorn versus Carlton surely gets the title of match of the round. In what could have been a world title boxing bout between the two full forwards, Jarryd Roughead vs. Brendan Fevola with both booting 8 goals, it may have ended in a controversial draw. Big Fev just hitting the post to miss the knockout punch seconds before the final siren. This was a thrilling comeback from Carlton, making the most of Hawthorn’s turnovers in the last quarter. I ended up tipping the Hawks but Carlton should probably have won this one. Two of the legs in my multi didn’t make it, Freo were too strong for the Eagles, and like many predicted, the Saints had Doggies covered. The rest of the games went pretty much as expected for punters, even if the Cats scared a few people early.
On to this weeks tips and betting odds, as usual my tips are in bold, as well as the best available odds for each team. Richmond have a good recent record against Brisbane, but can they do it without Richo? I don’t think so.

There are some big ins for the Hawks and they started to play more like themselves last week. I’d be surprised to see the Bombers come within 5 goals to be honest.
